Carol Mayer

President

Carol’s a native New Yorker who grew up in the promotional products business. Her father and brother owned vinyl manufacturing companies and were leaders in the field.

After studying political science and getting a Masters in Library Science, she couldn’t stay away and became a promotional products salesperson and then a distributor, Empire Promotional Products.

One of the first to recognize the potential of the web, she jumped in early and has been developing empirepromos.com on a continuous basis to make it a user friendly, functional and exciting tool for promotional product buyers. As the Senior Account Executive, she enjoys working with major accounts. She’s always on hand to weigh in on account executives’ projects and has nurtured EmpirePromos’ solid relationships with both suppliers and clients by honoring commitments and maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.

Toni Marrero

Vice President, IT, Accounting & Administration

Toni first came to Empire Promotional Products in 2000 when she was a student at CUNY (City University of New York) Baruch College after having gained experience at the Brooklyn Public Library, the NY Aquarium and TIAA-CREF. After earning her Bachelor degree in Business Administration, she became a fulltime, indispensable member of the EmpirePromos team. Her attention to detail, accuracy and organizational abilities keep everything at EmpirePromos running like clockwork. She’s our go-to person for technology coordination, finances and general administration.

Sue Berman

Vice President, Customer Service

Sue’s a lifetime New Yorker and has been with EmpirePromos for more than eight years. She began her successful career in printing, which later expanded into promotional products.  Sue excelled at three major magazine and catalog printers and brought her printing knowledge and friendly, sure handed approach to her promotional products career at EmpirePromos.

Clients can count on her expertise and attention to detail on each and every order.  She’s fun to work with, friendly and highly competent.  You can rest assured that your order is in great hands with her commitment to guiding every order through to successful completion.

Eduardo Estrella

Vice President, Sales

Eduardo started as a Sociology major at the City College of New York, CUNY and brings his ten years of retail and B2B account management expertise to EmpirePromos. When you work with him on your promotional product programs, you will immediately know that you’re in the hands of a pro. He’s found a home in the promotional products field and is passionate about developing creative and unique promotional product solutions. He develops personal working relationships with his accounts that extend past just a transaction. He believes in the power of possibility and gives every project his all. Susan Antino

Account Executive

Susan is the newest member of the EmpirePromos Account Team. She started out with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Albany and went on to 30 successful years in the wholesale bridal business. Now starting her second year at EmpirePromos, she brings her outstanding abilities to manage projects, suggest products and partner with her clients to assure that their promotional product programs are perfectly executed. She has a loyal following of clients who wouldn’t think of working with anyone else.

Susan lives in New York City with her husband and two sons. In her downtime, she’s an avid baker as well as a PTA member and energetic “baseball mom”.

Francisco Lopez

Art Director

Francisco is our resident graphic artist. He’s made NYC his home since 2001. Originally from Ecuador, he moved to New York to study and loved it so much that after obtaining his bachelor’s degree he decided to stay and become a US Citizen.

Due to his professional skills and artistic judgment, the free virtual proofs he creates show how your logo will appear on each proposed product. Once you approve, these virtual proofs are used to create products that project a professional image—the right size, the right colors, the correct proportions. He will work with you to accommodate your design needs and will even create vector art when none exists. The professional quality of his preproduction virtuals and meticulous camera-ready art assure that promotional products with your logo produced by EmpirePromos are top notch.

Outside of work, he volunteers at a non-profit to help kids and the less fortunate to get a leg up on life.

DAVID LI

Database Director

David was born a millennial in New York City and grew up during the technology age. He knew from a young age that as an outstanding science and math student he would focus on the STEM fields.

He earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major in Computer Information Systems at Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, CUNY. Currently a part of the Empire family, his job is to manage the online platform. The responsibilities include communicating with hundreds of suppliers and publishing new and exciting products. And don’t worry if you can’t find what you’re looking for. David is ready to shoot it up on the site at a moment’s notice.

Nasima Hussain

Director of Order Administration

A graduate of colleges both in her native Bangladesh and at Baruch College, CUNY, she brings her outstanding ability to handle details to the service of Empire’s clients and account executives.

She’s the key person who assures that orders go into production correctly and that they ship on time and by the appropriate shipping method. If there are changes to orders during production, she’s on top of it and makes sure that any changes are properly finalized with the factories. With over five years at EmpirePromos, she’s the pro who’s the front line with the factories, assuring that Empire’s standards of excellence are applied to every order.
